This piece was specifically commissioned for the new Bending Branch tasting room, situated within their recently established library cellar. It is designed to showcase carefully curated pairings and to provide guests with an elevated, memorable tasting experience. The table itself is crafted from a single, solid piece of Texas oak, highlighted by a subtle metallic black epoxy filling the natural cracks, adding a refined touch. Additionally, the client requested an inlay plaque to acknowledge their partners at Elder Hardwood, who generously donated the oak slab. To complete the design, I created a custom metal base equipped with adjustable feet to ensure both stability and a sleek, modern style.
