This piece was specially commissioned for my future father-in-law and holds a unique place in my collection. It is the most intricate desk I have created to date, demonstrating my craftsmanship and dedication to detail. I carefully designed the entire piece using Fusion 360, meticulously modeling each individual component with precision. The construction process took approximately three weeks, involving many hours of focused work. To make it truly meaningful, I incorporated personal elements such as a hidden cabinet and the family name elegantly engraved on the front of the larger drawer. Finished with hardwax oil, I look forward to working with this species of wood again, as I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
